An Afternoon of Artwork

December 11, 2014

Thanks to everyone who came out this past Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 to look at art.  I enjoyed the company of so many people I love as well as some new faces.  Our time was spent in Broome Hall of Holy Trinity, a place where I have collected so many memories throughout my life.  In it hang 8 bodies of work that I have completed over the past two years.  Walking through the room you will see a transition from a very realistic body of work into abstraction.  This past year I have spent creating still lifes of fruits, vegetables and bouquets of flowers in celebration of the bounty of the life of my twin children coming into this world.  I now feel drawn to move in a new direction as the abstracted series Alluvium tells on the opposite wall in Broome Hall.  Looking forward to sharing that new work as it unfolds before me.

This show will be up through December if you haven't yet had a chance to visit.
